Kaka and Real Madrid: Complicated Relationship? Problems discussed!

With all relationships come their complications, high points and low points, good moments and bad memories, comes utmost trust and some misunderstandings. Here we look at why one of the world's best football player at a time has had it very difficult at a club. What have been the complications between the two?

The Transfer

Real Madrid captured three marquee signings in the summer of 2009 getting their hold on Benzema, Ronaldo and this lad Kaka. While Ronaldo was definitely going to be the next big thing, Kaka was coming to the Bernabeu on the back of an impressive season with Milan. Estimated at almost 70m Euros, he was brought in to become the attacking playmaker for the likes of Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuain. The transfer was welcomed by Real Madrid fans and Kaka was bid a very fond farewell by Milan fans as well, there seemed to be no ill associated with the move as Milan President clarified the reason of the sale was purely financial as for Milan an offer like that was not deniable. For Real it was a signal of intent and an era for new Glacticos to shine at the Bernabeu, unfortunately though this Brazilian legend could not make the cut for the new era.

The Seasons

2009/10 saw him making 33 apearances for the club scoring 9 goals and assisting 8, 2010/11 brought lesser appearances 22, in which he had a mere 7 goals and  6 assists. 2011/12 has been his most fruitful year in a Madrid shirt so far where he had 40 outings scoring 8 and assisting 14. But the last season again saw appearances dried up with him appearing 27 games scoring just 5 and creating 4.He has scored a disappointingly low 29 goals for Madrid whereas he scored an impressive 35 in his last two seasons prior to moving to the Los Blancos.

Injuries

Injuries happen, big injuries seem to happen to big players once in their career atleast which does take something out of the player but big players come back from these injuries even stronger, stronger if not physically then technically, emotionally and mentally. Well that is first thing that has not happened in the case of Kaka. That left knee injury which kept him out for most of the initial two seasons is not bothering him around now but still the Brazilian is missing his flair and confidence and sadly it seems like he doesn't even bother now to get back to his old self. Maybe he has resigned himself to this fate and broken mentally, but top notch players do not get intimated by such things, they move on and get stronger. We hope Kaka does that too!

Future

He has not made an appearance for Madrid this season although the season is still very fresh. Carlo Ancelotti was the man under whom he did all those magical things at AC Milan so there is still hope there for his fans that Ancelotti can bring him back to his best. Well bringing his best back may be a long shot but atleast getting him to play regularly will be something us fans will very much appreciate from Ancelotti. But Ancelotti is at Real Madrid which is not a club that is renowned for taking emotion in to their dealings on and off the pitch so sentiments wont play a part here. Ancelotti has to see some desire from the former FIFA Player of the year to start using him again.

We all hope Kaka bucks up a final time and really gives it a go this season, we all really hope that will happen!
