La Liga: Points to be noted so far!

2 weeks of action has seen the big guns start all blazing with Barca already scoring 8 in 2. We take a look at some of the important deductions from the opening couple of weeks.

1. Barcelona are the team to beat, I didn't really need to write that, They always are. The way they have started they will again be.

2. Messi and Neymar; no link up so far, looks a bit more complicated than it seems.

3. Real Madrid require a marquee signing, Bale or Saurez, doesn't matter but they need to sign one of them.

4. Villareal are back with a bang in the big league, this time to stay for a considerable amount of time one presumes.

5. Atletico Madrid will once again be in the mix, will they cause any upset is a different debate but surely they are the best of the rest.

6. Malaga, Betis, and Sevilla need to get their act together if they are to repeat last seasons' heroics.

7. Osasuna and Valladoid will be in the relegation scrap this time around as well, no real improvement in terms of signings plus not a very encouraging start either.

8. Real Sociedad will once again challenge for Uefa Champions League spots so beware of them.

9. After being thrashed by Barca 7-0, Levante earned a respectable goalless draw against Sevilla at home.

10. Espanyol and Villareal are your teams to watch out for this season. Both seem to have a decent squad.
