No action from FA for Aguero's Horrific two footed challenge on David Luiz!!

Sergio Agüero will not face any retrospective action from the Football Association for his two-footed tackle on David Luiz during Manchester City's 2-1 FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday.

The incident occurred in the 82nd-minute of the tie as Agüero made the challenge on David Luiz after the defender had previously appeared to elbow him. Chris Foy, the referee, awarded Chelsea a free-kick, and while it was unclear if this was for Agüero's offence, as the official is deemed to have seen the episode as a whole, under the FA's regulations the incident cannot be re-refereed following the match.
If the challenge had occurred off the ball and away from Foy's field of vision then the striker would probably have had a case to answer.Afterwards, David Luiz called on Agüero to apologise.

Following the defeat Rafael Benítez, the Chelsea manager, preferred to focus on a penalty claim that was turned down by Foy later in the match rather than Agüero's challenge.
The FA ruling means Agüero has escaped a potential three-match ban, one game of which would have been Sunday's trip to Tottenham Hotspur, who are competing with Chelsea for a top-four finish to qualify for Champions League football next season. Spurs are fifth with 58 points and stand behind Chelsea on goal difference only.
