Turkey vs Hungary: Preview World Cup 2014 Qualifier

                                                                       1-1

The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group D is a UEFA qualifying group for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The group comprises Netherlands, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Estonia and   Andorra.

After drawing 1-1 with Romania on Friday, the Hungarian National Soccer Team knows that it must win its match with Turkey in order to maintain the second spot in Group D.
Burak Yilmaz had given Turkey the lead eight minutes after second half, but Bode ensured honours were shared as both sides looked for a win to improve their play-off hopes.

This match is crucial to both sides. After this battle, Turkey hosts Andorra while Hungary faces Romania. If Hungary lets points get away against Turkey, their match with Romania will be a pressure filled affair, especially with the Turks in prime position to win more points against Andorra.
Yilmaz shot over the bar and Hungary's Tamas Hajnal fired wide as both sides started the second half well. Yilmaz finally made the breakthrough at 62’ on the hour when he headed in Arda Turan's cross from close range.
