Manchester City and Chelsea fighting for Falcao!


Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone admits that star striker Radamel Falcao might be tempted away from the club, with continued speculation linking the Colombian with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City this summer, reports Sky Sports.


 


Its going to be a quite interesting battle when this season is over, and the richer premier league clubs specifically Chelsea and Manchester City, resume their duel attempt to sign the currently best striker after Messi in the world. On top of the list for both teams in one name – Radamel Falcao, while Edison Cavani and Gonzalo Higuain are a bit down the list.
Manchester City boss boss Roberto Mancini has been credited with an interest in bringing the South American to the Etihad Stadium, as he continues his search for a replacement for Mario Balotelli, who returned to his native Italy in January, following a move to AC Milan.
However, Manchester City face competition for Falcao's signature, as long-term admirers Chelsea also weigh up an attempt to tempt the Atletico Madrid star to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens in July.
The Blues are still without a permanent manager, but that is unlikely to stop Russian owner Roman Abramovich from pressing ahead with plans to strengthen the Chelsea squad ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.

City are now prepared to break the record transfer million bid for Atletico Madrid striker Falcao. With Sergio Aguero reportedly unsettled fee in England by launching a £52 million.

The Blues have been on Falcao's tail for a while now along with Manchester City, as he is one of the most sought-after strikers in the European game.

that a secret meeting had been held between Atletico and Chelsea representatives in a bid to kickstart a proposed move to Stamford Bridge for the Colombian.
It's not yet clear how much money it will take to excite Los Rojiblancos into selling, but Simeone has conceded that when big clubs come calling, it's difficult to prevent players from leaving the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
"It is complicated, but it would be fabulous if he stayed," the Aregentine told Spanish radio show.

"I am not his agent. I am not Falcao. Falcao has given me a lot and is a player with commitment and I respect him a lot for that. The fans do not have to judge him after all he has given."
It’s a fact Atletico Madrid lost many big players before, but always managed to replace them well.
"Fernando Torres went and Sergio Aguero came, which was a risky bet. Diego Forlan went and Falcao came,"
"If he does end up leaving, another competitive player will surely arrive."
Rumorous are coming Atletico Madrid may sign Turkish super Star Burak Yilmaz to replace Falcao.
