Levante UD 1-0 Sevilla FC
highlights: Mid-table clash occurred on Saturday when Levante play host to
Sevilla in an interesting La Liga encounter which was won by the home team. Both sides were keen on grabbing maximum points but it
was Levante that managed to secure that result after a fine attacking move was
finished off by an excellent low drive shot by Ruben Garcia five minutes before
the halt time.

21’ Weligton (Malaga)
31’ Piti (Pen) (Rayo Vallecano)
55’ Julio Baptista (Malaga)
86’ P. Morales (Malaga)
The match was quite Interesting as Malaga got an
early breakthrough but it was not enough when Willy Caballero (Malaga) made a
foul inside the box and gave penalty to the opponents. Piti (Rayo Vallecano) converts
the penalty with a left footed shot to bottom right corner. Till the half time
it was 1-1 but it was’nt over for Malaga they were thirsty for more goals and
eventually they got it when Julio
Baptista’s header from centre of the box to top left corner which was assisted
by Pedro Morales and gave his team one goal lead. 4 minutes before the full
time a stunning strike from P. Morales outside the box gave Malaga 2 goals lead
and helped his team to get 3 easy points.\
Match 4:
Real Madrid 1-1
Zaragoza
6’ Rodri (Zaragoza)
38’ Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
Real Zaragoza got an early goal with the help of Rodri but it was'nt over when The Portuguese forward of Real Madrid restored parity with a
precise finish but they could not find a winner. Things did not go to plan from the
start for Jose Mourinho's men as the relegation-embroiled side took a surprise
lead in the sixth minute. Madrid were extremely rushed in
possession but still came desperately close to finding an equaliser soon after. Madrid were resorting to a
long-ball game but it paid dividends in the 38th minute. Pepe's pass from deep
was not dealt with by Loovens and Ronaldo bulldozed through the defence
before lashing a low shot past Roberto at his near post.
The result means Madrid remain 13
points behind Barcelona, who could only manage a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo
earlier on Saturday. Zaragoza, meanwhile, will be hopeful that the unexpected
result can provide a late surge to safety.
